Our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program helps Greene County & Washington County residents with earned incomes get their federal, Pennsylvania and local income tax returns completed and filed, free of charge. Households with incomes of $64,000 or less are eligible for VITA.
IRS-Certified community volunteers along with students from Waynesburg University and Washington & Jefferson College help participants prepare and file their taxes.
Appointments can be scheduled by dialing 2-1-1. Due to high 2-1-1 call volumes, you can also schedule your own VITA appointment by visiting www.pa211sw.org
