BA Degree in Social Service field.


-Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM


  • Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
  • Provide information and referral to eligible clients about our programs and services.
  • Possess knowledge of current available resources in the community that relate to the clients.
  • Interview client and assess their immediate needs, i.e. physical, mental, social, etc.
  • Provide protective services and crisis intervention for at-risk clients.
  • Conduct recertification, reassessments and review appropriateness of service being provided to clients.
  • Perform home visits as necessary and as directed by supervisor via reliable transportation.
  • Complete and submit travel expense statements and timesheets as required by supervisor.
  • Provide housing counseling to households in the areas of budgeting, credit counseling, predatory lending, pre-purchase, post-purchase and foreclosure mitigation.
  • Facilitate housing counseling education workshops including scheduling, marketing and procuring speakers.
  • Utilize appropriate technology and online meeting platforms when appropriate and as needed to provide participant services.
  • Use a coaching approach when helping participants develop a tailored action plan to help them meet their goals; work with participants to update action plans as needed.
  • Complete follow-up paperwork from individual appointments and class sessions, including certificates and communication with referring partners.
  • Create, maintain and update participant files on a regular basis.
  • Enter required data into agency and housing counseling databases.
  • Assists in completion of billing and reports for programs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Use independent judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Build relationships with lenders, realtors and other professionals to enhance and develop referral sources.
