Truancy Intervention and Prevention

The Truancy Intervention Prevention Program (TIPP) is a voluntary, inter-agency initiative serving students and families across Washington County, PA. Designed to support schools and families in addressing truancy, TIPP provides a range of prevention services aimed at improving school attendance and reducing the risk of out-of-home placement.

The TIPP program serves students in elementary, middle, and high schools, from enrollment into kindergarten and up to the age of 18 years. Blueprints staff assist schools by identifying students who are having concerns with truancy, meeting with students and their families in order to assess the problem and providing the family with support and other services to help students attend school regularly.
