Blueprints is pleased to announce new funding support for its Greene County Home Delivered Meals program through the Community Foundation of Greene County. The recent funding was generously made possible (in part) by grants from the Community Foundation through both the James and Jackie Campbell Family Fund and the Peters Family Memorial Fund.
The support comes as increased awareness of the program has highlighted both its impact and its ongoing funding needs. Through these grants, the Community Foundation of Greene County, along with the donors who have established these family funds, is helping Blueprints continue providing critical services that allow Greene County seniors to remain healthy, safe, and connected to their community.
Blueprints extends its sincere appreciation to Sharon and Bob Willison, Jeff Schwarz and Family, and Lillian Cheek for their kind support of our Home Delivered Meals program. The agency is thrilled to share that Lillian’s Give Back Mission raised over $1,000 for the program after seeing our need highlighted in a recent newspaper article. We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s generosity, initiative, and commitment to helping ensure local, older adults receive the nutritious meals and support they need.
In 2025, Blueprints delivered more than 46,000 meals to over 300 Greene County residents through its Home Delivered Meals program. Each weekday, meals are prepared at the agency’s Central Kitchen in Waynesburg and distributed throughout the county by dedicated volunteers. The program provides reliable access to nutritious meals, as well as regular check-ins that can help identify concerns and connect participants with additional support when needed.
The agency also recently welcomed two new volunteers to assist with providing the home delivered meals, adding to the network of community members who help deliver meals and provide a friendly point of contact for participants. Their involvement reflects the generosity and spirit of service that have helped sustain the program for years.
Blueprints recognizes the leadership and dedication of Stacy Stroman, Aging Well Director, and Jessie Rush, Central Kitchen Site Supervisor, whose ongoing efforts help ensure the successful operation of the program and the consistent delivery of services to Greene County seniors.
