Foster Care and Adoption

Blueprints provides children and youth, ages newborn to 21 years with a safe, secure and stable environment in a quality foster home on a temporary basis, until such time as their biological parent or their guardian can safely have the child/children return to their care. Services include emergency, kinship, treatment, and traditional foster care services, kinship navigation, and support services. If the court determines a child or youth cannot return home, we also provide assistance through our adoption services.

Foster care services include training, certification, stipends and ongoing support for foster and kinship parents.

Blueprints staff work with you and the children placed with you to coordinate services including but not limited to educational, medical, and behavioral services.

The primary goal is for children to return home to their birth parents but if that cannot be achieved, Blueprints staff will assist children and foster parents with adoption services. This includes but is not limited to child/family profiles, post-placement services, and finalization services.
