Our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program helps Greene County & Washington County residents with earned incomes get their federal, Pennsylvania and local income tax returns completed and filed, free of charge. Households with incomes of $58,000 or less are eligible for VITA.
IRS-Certified community volunteers along with students from Waynesburg University and Washington & Jefferson College help participants prepare and file their taxes.
As a result of the pandemic, the 2021 VITA Program is operating differently this year through virtual and hybrid options. Appointments can be scheduled by dialing 2-1-1. Due to high 2-1-1 call volumes, you can also schedule your own VITA appointment by using your smartphone or computer:
Virtual Option
Please take one of these links (based on where you live) to answer some basic questions:

– Visit www.pa211sw.org
